Musical activities, songs and games during COVID-19 isolation
Jenna Fan, daughter-in-law of Founder Angela Fan and sister-in-law of Managing Director Ailie Fan, is a musician, piano teacher and choir leader. Her three children will be at home due to school closures starting next week (Monday 23rd March 2020) in the UK and as part of the new routine Jenna will be helping her children with educational activities during the day.
Music is an important part of any child’s education and Jenna will be enjoying musical activities, songs and games each day with her own children. She has decided to share these activities with other parents and carers at home with their children by streaming the music sessions online as Facebook Live videos.
You can join Jenna and her children each morning at 10am GMT on her Facebook page Fanfare Music (https://www.facebook.com/fanfaremusic.co.uk/) – the sessions will last for 30 minutes. The videos will be available to watch back at a different time to suit you if you prefer.
We appreciate it can be difficult to find things to entertain young children with at home for extended periods so this may give you some relief, something fun to do with your children and a bit of routine amidst the chaos. You can expect rhythm games, beating in time, listening activities, new songs to learn, action songs, instruments and more. The sessions will be suitable for anybody in our network with primary school age children.
We hope this helps you during this unusual time. Stay healthy.
